“Santa Barbara-based artist and philanthropist Morris Bear Squire created a giant sculptural piece of Obama with his Blackberry, which is now on view at 111 State Street in Santa Barbara, CA”… OK, Morris – I see Obama, but where is this blackberry that you speak of? “I love the way Obama walks. He has such elegance, athletic grace and suppleness.”, says Liz Whelan. This particular sculpture is fired stoneware, painted in acrylics, 9″h. Oak base.
And from Clayton Singleton: “This acrylic painting on canvas was painted after seeing President Obama as Senator Obama on one of many Obama rallies in the battleground state of Virginia. I got to shake his hand and have my book signed at this particular event in Chesapeake, VA. cool guy.”

Lisa Kereszi writes in: “This is a sketch of Obama my grandmother believes she failed at. It is her first attempt. She lives in Pennsylvania, is an Evangelical Christian who believes that he is Chosen. The oxygen tube is related to emphysema from 50 years of smoking cigarettes.”
Alison Schuchs writes in: “I took this portrait I did to the Mall on January 19th, 2009. It was Martin Luther King, Jr’s Birthday and the day before the Inauguration. I had people write on the portrait their wishes and thoughts. So the portrait is a piece of history too from the Deep South. You can see the video on YouTube of people signing the artwork. ”
