Julainne Sybil Sumich writes in: “I drew this sketch from Newsweek ‘s Special Commemorative Issue. I began in November 2008 and completed it on 13 January 2OO9. I think it captures Obama’s athletic intelligence and visionary mind. Materials used in this sketch: Black pencil, Black UB150, Black gouache, Coffee.”

Bensonn Anspach has created an entire blog devoted to drawing MemeBots, cartoon robots with themes “that are sometimes topical and sometimes nonsensical”. Sure enough, many of the recent posts have been Obama related.

If you were watching the election coverage on NBC Tuesday night, you may have noticed Brian Williams pull out a chart showing the former 43 presidents. The commentary that followed discussed how different the chart will look when the 44th president is added. Personally, I like this version spotted in davidwatts1978′s photostream:
