Folk Art Obama from Nepal

Friday, February 13th, 2009 | 2 Comments »

Michelle Page writes in: “These are part of a limited edition (28) of portraits of Obama painted in November, 2008, in Kathmandu, Nepal by 10 signboard artists. They are approximately 12′ square, synthetic enamel on metal. They are an expansion of the Danger Dog project, helping endangered signboard artists to keep practicing their craft in the age of digital technology. They are available for sale at the Santa Monica Museum of Art and on my website.” More inside!
