Mixed Messages
This one came in from a reader “sd335908″ with unfortunatly no information attached. It appears to be charcoal on canvas and centers Obama between a montage of mixed images – everything from an emerging butterfly to the a-bomb and Hitler. It makes me feel a bit overwhelmed. Not quite sure what the message is supposed to be.

Seems to me he’s contemplating all the rich history, both good and bad, that has lead up to this, his moment in time. Very well done, as are so many of the wonderful, iconic images you’ve posted here, kudos to all the artists involved.
