Election night Portrait

Steve Loya sent in this painting that he completed while watching the election: “Here’s a quick little portrait I made last night as I anxiously watched the votes roll in on MSNBC. I’m still wondering if this was all a dream.”

More from Steve

I could go on forever here, stating how the nasty, virulent attacks on his character backfired in his opponents faces, or how incredibly proud I am of the American people for using their better judgement and for their hard work, or how, after eight years of enduring a reckless cowboy in office we, without a doubt in my mind, made the right decision. I could go on about this forever but instead I will simply congratulate President Obama and acknowledge the fact that this will be a long and winding road ahead for him, and for us, and how it is time for everyone to turn the page to a new intelligent and positive chapter, and to move forward. Once again, congratulations President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden! You guys worked your rears off and have earned your place in history.
