I am an artist living in New York City and have been making works of art inspired by and using paint-by-number paintings for over 15 years. I own the only other copy of this painting I’ve ever seen and it was included, along with 20 other paintings from my collection in the 2001 paint-by-number exhibition at the Smithsonian. This piece was made using a very early and extremely rare vintage unpainted paint by number. (Most PBN’s from the period have numbers but this has letters instead…) It will come to you professionally framed in a white painted wooden frame.” Auctioned for $1,712.00
