Re-invent the bumper sticker
The people over Infectious.com are currently running a contest and asked us to help put the word out:
Political bumper stickers are so 2004. Infectious specializes in whole-car stickers! They are looking for artists to create Obama designs using the entire vehicle as your canvas. It is sponsored by CRO from GoTellMama and Jon Reiss, the Director of Bomb It – so it looks legit. Now learn what you can win…

The loot
The winner will recieve:
- $500 Cash
- 5% of net sales
- $400 of Infectious product
- A Bomb It DVD and Poster designed by Shepard Fairey.
- A signed CRO Obama Poster
Plus: 100% of profit from Obama Car Art products will be used for printing and giving away additional free Obama Art.
Disclaimer? Anti-disclaimer?
Just to be clear – we are not associated Infectious.com in any way. They do not sponsor this site, or provide support The Art of Obama. It just seemed like a cool gig.
Here is the original request that they sent us:
“I’m helping my friend Tim (founder of Infectious) find folks who can help us get the word out about a contest he’s hosting on infectious.com. The contest is for recreating the bumper sticker into something super cool for Obama supporters (and potentially official-campaign cars). Proceeds go to creating more decals to distribute for free to Obama campaign headquarters, Obama support events, etc. It would be great if your interested in promoting the contest we would love you forever.”
Now really – How could we refuse the offer of eternal love?
